About Me

Gustavus Wyche, NASM Certified Personal Trainer

My story is that I was once as skinny as a toothpick, not very strong and I had the self-confidence to match. Once I realized why I felt the way I did, I hit the gym, HARD! With results came strength, a better physique, more self-confidence and a new calling. My beginnings as a personal trainer started with training guys with similar goals as mine. The more I learned about health and fitness the broader my clientele grew and I found myself training people for weight-loss as well. 7 years and an NASM certification later I have had success with a variety of clients from dancers and models to seniors and persons with disabilities. I love every minute of what I do and I show it in my work.

The desire to look better is what motivates most of us to exercise. There's nothing better than looking in the mirror and seeing how all of your hard work has paid off. But in my book, inches and pounds aren't the only measures of success. When my clients gain confidence in the gym and get excited about working out I know that I'm doing my job. My training philosophy is simple. I am here to teach and motivate. I am less of a drill sergeant and more of a coach. I know where I started and what dedication it took for me to get to where I am today. With that said, I expect nothing less than that from my clients, and I push them to achieve their highest fitness potential.

I'm always looking for new and creative ways to help my clients achieve the results they want and I will continue learning all that I can to be the best personal trainer I can be.
